Tasted blind at Southwold ’06 Bordeaux tasting. This has a languid, sensuous nose with bright red-berried fruit, strawberry, cranberry and a touch of granite. Superb definition and sense of clarity. The palate is medium-bodied, a hint of iodine on the entry but lovely cohesion and harmony on the mid-palate, sensuous towards the finish. Very stylish. This is one of the finest wines from L’Evangile in recent years. Bravo! Tasted January 2010.
